I came on the second Freedom plane all the way from Turkey! It was the most exciting thing—EVER! We couldn’t see out the windows but mostly it was dark so we took naps. It was still dark when we got to Atlanta but they turned the big lights on for us so the plane could see where to park. Then some people took our crates out and some other people were cheering for us. We barked and wagged our tails. Yay- we were in America! Now I’m an American dog with a real American family. There is a mom and dad and a big sister and a medium brother and even a 3 year old dog brother. He used to be an AGA orphan too but he never got to ride in a plane because he was already an American so he wants me to tell him all about that! I’m maybe only 2 or 3 years old but I sure have had some adventures! Besides the folks at AGA I don’t want to forget to thank my kind sponsors, Pat and John McCarty. Without people like you the sad dogs in Turkey would never get to take a plane ride like I did. Your good friend, Truman
