Tuffy – a nearly 12-year-old male purebred golden, was brought to us by his owners because they were moving and couldn’t take him. Tuffy is a wonderful dog that needed an equally loving family to paper him in his senior years. We placed him with one of our favorite foster families who have taken in a number of our dogs. Tuffy really liked this new home and was determined to make it his forever one. He quickly wiggled his way into his fosters hearts. With adoption day approaching the fosters realized they were not prepared to give old Tuffy up. They had grown especially attached to Tuffy and decided it was time to make it official. So now Tuffy has a forever home and a wonderful mom and dad of his own. We hope these great fosters will agree to bring a friend home for Tuffy every now and then, but either way we’re happy we could help find them their perfect forever dog (and we know Tuffy’s even happier)!
