When I first got here there was no hiding it…I was a mess! Handsome? Yes, but in need of a make-over. My coat had to be shaved because my skin was infected (which, in case you didn’t know, is something you never do to a golden unless it is absolutely necessary). I had to wear a T-shirt when I went outside so I didn’t get a sunburn. Whew, I didn’t like staying out long, too hot! When I was ready to meet the public, I found my new family. My mom and dad have adopted from AGA several times but sadly had to let their golden go to be an angel and the house seemed empty. They have a cat, which is something I’m getting used to, and a big yard! I have been working on losing a few pounds and I am getting more exercise daily…I look good! I’ve come a long way since that shelter in Turkey. Lucky me! Thank you everyone, Tugboat
