Vail is approximately 7 years old and is a female golden who was found up at Lake Lanier with Aspen. They were “traveling together” and appeared to have been lost for about a month. Vail was so matted and dirty when we found her that we had to shave her. Then we realized how skinny she was. She needed lots of TLC and we found a very special foster mom for her. In no time, Vail was eating and putting on weight. She was also putting on the charm so her foster mom would see what a good dog she was. Vail loved her foster mom and her foster brother, Zeus. (Yes, our boy Zeus). In no time, she had wrapped her foster Mom around her big paw and it was decided. Vail had a home with Zeus! We knew they belonged together and it was worth losing a foster home if Vail got her home. That’s what it’s all about.
