Vanderbilt (or Vandy for short) is a 1 year old male golden who was found as a stray. No one was looking for him in the area he was found. A kind soul took him to the area vet to keep him safe until we could go get him. When we got him we put him into our wonderful foster homes (or so we thought). For these foster parents it was their first time fostering and as luck would have it, it may be their last time for a while. Once Vandy got into their home he wiggled his way right into their hearts. After just a few days mom called to say that she wanted to keep him. Now mom and dad are happy and Vandy is happy too. In addition, Vandy will have 2 canine siblings to teach him all about family life.
