My name is Whiskey, and I’m a 2.5-year-old golden boy who weighs about 49 pounds. I have a sweet personality, lots of energy, and my whole future ahead of me.
I came to AGA after my owner fell on hard times and could no longer care for me. It was a sad goodbye, but now I’m ready to find a family to love me like I know I will love them! I was briefly adopted, but a family member was having allergies, so I’m back looking for my forever.
I’m house-trained, friendly with everyone I meet, and I ride great in the car. I’m still a young guy, so I’ve got plenty of energy and would love an active family to help me channel it in fun, positive ways. I would do best in a home with no small kids and a fenced yard – where I can run off all my energy!
I am good with older kids and other dogs. I do need some leash training, but I am a smart boy who is eager to learn. With all the changes I have had recently, I have some separation anxiety at first, and I am not a fan of the crate. So, I’d really thrive with someone who is home more often to continue teaching me and helping me grow into the best boy I can be.
I’m a sweet, happy boy who just wants to be included in everyday life. With a little guidance, plenty of exercise, and lots of love, I know I’m going to make an incredible best friend.
