We are about 7.5 years old and are BFF’s. I’m Guinness and I am a purebred chocolate lab and my best friend Whiskey is a chocolate lab/golden retriever mix. We came to AGA a little overweight – the vet said we needed to lose about 10 lbs each – but our foster has been walking us every day and making sure we don’t eat too many treats. I’ve lost 7 lbs already and Whiskey’s lost 8 lobs, so we don’t have far to go. We LOVE to take walks! We’ve always been together, and AGA promised us we could stay together forever since we’re sad when the other one isn’t around. I know we don’t look like goldens on the outside, but our foster dad says that we act JUST like goldens – we like to hang out in the same room with our people, we lean on them or even lie across their laps when we are being petted, and we are playful, affectionate and want to please you. My foster mom says I have soulful eyes and we are both the best companions, sweet, friendly and laid back. We are looking for a good home where we will be safe and taken care of.
