Yeller was an 11 year old male Golden Retriever whose owner could no longer care for him due to financial problems. He came to us from Alabama and was in bad shape. Lethargic and extremely thin with infected ears and skin, we got him feeling better for a little while but he never left the vet. While we were hoping his vital signs would improve they did the opposite. He was a favorite at the vet office and several of our volunteers visited with him. He was a cuddler and would bury his head in your lap. We were with him when he went to get his wings. This ole’ Yeller got a big set. He deserved better in life but he left it in peace and with love. – AGA
