Meet Zeke – he is about 7 years old and was only hours from death when we deciced we had to save him. Now Zeke may have some golden in him along with some spaniel and may have some flat coated retriever in him which would account for the black running through his straight ears. He is a small dog weighing in at 45 pounds (he was laying down when we first saw him) but he has a sweet, golden temperment. Unfortunately, Zeke was sick with heartworms, but thanks to our wonderful sponsor, Dekalb Tire who paid for his heartworm treatment, he is all better. And thanks to his wonderful foster family his heart is better too! They nursed him through heartworms treatment and along the way fell in love with him. Zeke now has a great forever home with a terrific mom and dad and a little Yorkie companion too! Zeke’s once fuzzy future is certainly looking golden!
