Zeus is a sweet golden retriever who was found wandering the streets. His luck changed when on of our very own adopters found him. He took Zeus to a vet immediately since Zeus is very skinny and was tired. We are certain that Zeus has lived on the streets for some time now since he is at least 20 pounds underweight. Zeus is very well behaved and has been trained. He sits when you say “sit” and will stay when you say “stay” and he looks at you like you are supposed to say the next command (whatever that may be). We got Zeus out of the vet the day before adoption day and decided to bring him (although we thought no one would be interested in him until he put his weight back on). Boy, were we wrong! When a great family came in looking for their first family dog it was love at first sight. Zeus’s new kids, Mattie and Walker, have wanted a dog for so long and after they met Zeus they they had to have him. We know Zeus will be back to a healthy weight in no time since his new family has promised to give Zeus all the love and attention he had been lacking, not to mention a whole lotta treats.
