When I first got help it was lucky for me I didn’t have to go to a shelter. A nice doctor took me to his place and then helped me get to AGA. That doctor had to shave off my coat- it was such a mess and then the AGA doctor had to fix my eyelids because they were kind of backwards – I think. Then I heard I had to get special shots to get rid of heartworms- the word every dog hates to hear. That costs $500 and you need an angel to help with that. My angel is called Carol Adams. She already has two goldens who used to be orphans just like I was. She’s a nice lady and her dogs are very lucky to have her for a mom. Now I have my own mom and dad and two kids to play with and my very own home. I have my eyelids all fixed and no more heartworms and now I’m just waiting for my coat to grow back. I feel like a new dog! And another good thing is that I have to gain a little weight so there is no shortage of treats here. Sounds pretty perfect doesn’t it? Your grateful dog friend, Zeus
