UPDATE: We have just found out that Babe has a cancerous, non-operable tumor in her neck. Babe is not in pain and we plan to keep it that way. Babe’s foster family has fallen in love with her and have agreed to keep Babe until her journey to the Rainbow Bridge. We can’t thank our foster families enough for opening their homes and hearts to our goldens — particularly in cases like this. Babe will be loved every minute of her remaining days. BACKGROUND: Babe is a 12 year old female golden-mix who is a real sweetie. Babe’s owner died and she had nowhere to go. We promised her we would find her a home. Babe is a great dog. She is housetrained, good with dogs, good with cats and loves people. She doesn’t act like a 12 year old at all. She can still run and go up and down steps. She is healthy and just needs some new friends. Please help Babe and give her love and happiness. It is the least she deserves for her years of devotion.
